Russia’s invasion affected the majority of the tech industry.
1.On March 4, Moscows’ censor banned Facebook and other social media platforms. Microsoft banned their sales to Russia as well Apple follow that move. Mikhail Klimarev, an executive director of the Internet Protection Society, advocates for digital freedoms in Russia. He is concerned about all these big tech companies pulling Russia out from their services which is affecting the citizens of Russia. Klimarev urged everybody around the world that if you cut off Russia from their internet, then it means your cutting off 140 million people from receiving somewhat true information. Citizens of Russia would only have access to propaganda as their news.

2. The Metaverse is an intimidating term to understand, but it's not a complex construct to understand compared to when the internet came out, people were overwhelmed by this new construct. At the same time, people were thrilled to escape into a different reality. The Metaverse is another construct for people to escape to a different world. The Metaverse is a virtual-reality world depicted as a planet-encircling market where virtual real estate can be bought and sold, and where VR goggle-wearing users inhabit 3D avatars whose form they have the freedom to choose.
